Here’s everything you need to know for the 2026 Swim State Championships in Atlanta, GA! Located at the Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center.

Spectators must remain in the spectator seating area upstairs and are not allowed on the pool deck. All spectators will need to use the bathrooms by the elevators at the end of the hallway or upstairs.

Parking:
W-10 CRC Deck: This lot is located next to the CRC at 790 Ferst Drive. $15 flat fee. Credit or debit only. No cash. The lot will open at 7:00 a.m.
W-02 Deck Visitor Parking/Ferst Drive: located at 355 Ferst Dr NW, Atlanta, GA. $15 flat fee. Credit or debit only. No cash. The lot will open at 7:00 a.m.
GIAA, The Howard School, and the employees of Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center have no control over GT parking options and fees. There is no pre-paid parking option for this meet.
Enhanced GT Security:
Georgia Tech Campus Recreation has implemented enhanced security protocols for all swim meets with an expected spectator count of 250 or more. These measures are designed to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees, athletes, and staff.
Security implementation will include:
- Walk-through metal detectors at designated entry points
- Bag checks conducted by trained personnel
- Entry Location: Please use the entrance doors of the Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center.
- Metal Detector Screening: All spectators must pass through a metal detector upon entry.
- Bag Checks:
- All bags—clear or non-clear—will be checked before entry.
- Clear bags help speed up the process but are not exempt from inspection.
- Personal Items:
- Remove all metal items (keys, phones, belts, etc.) from your person before walking through the detector. Keep these items visible and organized for quick screening.
- Flow Process:
- Two lines will be available for entry; please follow staff directions to maintain an efficient flow.
- Screening will continue throughout the event, even if you have previously entered.
- Compliance: Please cooperate with staff for bag checks and metal detector screening to ensure safety and efficiency.
